1990 Hunter 37.5

Ready to go cruising.

This 1990 37.5′ Hunter Legend is ready to go cruising.

She sports a brand new Yanmar diesel from 2020 and everything in the engine room was replaced. There is a Sunbrella bimini and dodger with SS poles and newly added solar panels and wind generator on a custom frame above the bimini. The bottom was redone in 2020 with 3 coats of paint and showed no blisters. The scooped transom is great for divers and swimmers with a very large SS swim ladder and removable helm seat for easy access.

The roomy interior offers 2 private staterooms, 1 aft queen berth and 1 forward V-berth with privacy doors. The starboard dinette settee will convert to sleep 2 and the port settee will sleep 1. The port head has a sink, toilet and shower and can be accessed from the aft stateroom or from the salon.

The nav desk with opening top is to port and has a swing out swivel seat. The L shaped galley has double sinks, storage, propane stove and 12V cold plate refrigerator. I sailed this legend from West Palm Beach to Miami and she sailed well topping out at 8.5 knots in 18 MPH winds.

She will need some work in the interior, but can be easily done by the new owner.

Enter the vessel from the cockpit thru the centerline companionway. Starting to port aft is the large Queen berth stateroom with hanging lockers and multiple cabinets, opening ports and a private entrance to the head to starboard. The head has a manual toilet, mirror, SS sink with pressure hot and cold water, cabinets, lockers, shower with seat and shelves. The head has a second privacy door leading to the salon. Moving forward to starboard is the nav desk with swing out stool and electrical panels followed by the straight settee with storage behind and cubbies above.

Moving forward is the V-berth stateroom with privacy doors, hanging locker, SS sink, large berth, overhead hatch, lockers, shelves and bow locker. Moving aft from the forward stateroom to port is the “L” shaped convertible settee and dinette with storage behind, cubbies above and shelves followed by the galley with “L” shaped countertops, double deep SS sinks, SS 3 burner stove top and oven gimbaled followed aft by the cold plate refrigerator. Perpetual Motion sleeps 7 owners and guests on 4 berths and has 1 head with shower.
