BLUEBERRY RIPPLE, is a special boat. Canadian built by Starflight Yachts of Waterloo, Ontario, she was designed by Jim Taylor, who went on to Sabre Yachts, designing and collaborating with them for many years. Many of the features of this boat are evident in the Sabre line.
This boat has been very well maintained and upgraded over the years, and pride of ownership is evident. She was repowered in 2007 with a brand new Volvo diesel, with only 387 hrs on the clock. Hull was recently painted eliminating the need for buff and wax. Deck hatches are new.
Sail inventory includes fully battened Quantum main with Stacking pack, furling headsail, code 0, spinnaker, boom vang, S/S rod standing rigging, 6 winches (3 self-tailing), hydraulic backstay, and all running rigging in good shape. The boat has a huge main salon with plenty of headroom to allow unobstructed movement fore and aft, and plenty of comfortable seating. Beautiful teak and holly sole, and well maintained teak throughout. Forward Vberth stateroom sleeps 2, and private double berth 1/4 cabin sleeps another 2. Full galley has upgraded Corian countertops, double SS sinks, propane stove, microwave, hot/cold pressure water, and large in-counter icebox with brand new refrigeration. Plenty of storage throughout. The cockpit completely encloses, and canvas and Eisenglass is in excellent condition. A custom made winter cover and cradle is also included. Blueberry Ripple is a Canadian registered vessel and ready take her new owners on their next adventure.
She is equipped with all manuals, maintenance records, and safety equipment, and is a pleasure to show.
