Mainship has taken the trawler into the 21st century, blending today's technology and production techniques with the experience of crafting thousands of trawlers during the eighties and nineties. Inside the spacious cabin is a lower helm station complete with full instrumentation. Unlike a true trawler with a full-displacement hull, the 390 is built on a faster modified-V hull with a shallow, full-length keel. The single 300hp Cat diesel will cruise the Mainship 390 at 10–12 knots (about 14 knots top).
