1986 Custom Schooner 46

Classic Elegance

.. meets Modern Functionality.

Embark on a captivating maritime journey with this impeccably crafted 46-foot Schooner, a true masterpiece custom built and launched in 1986. This vessel combines classic elegance with modern functionality, offering a distinctive hull configuration featuring a raked bow, fin keel, and counter stern, ensuring both stability and performance on the open seas.

Step aboard to discover a thoughtfully designed interior that comfortably accommodates up to four sailors. The main berth caters to two, complemented by a versatile starboard settee that effortlessly transforms into a bunk. Two twin-size beds at port and starboard, cleverly positioned behind the benches, provide additional cozy sleeping quarters for an intimate nautical experience.

Navigate the waters with confidence and grace, as this sailboat features two masts ? one steel and one wood ? supporting a total of six sails. Revel in the joy of sailing with two topsails, two jib sails, a main, and a foresail, ensuring a dynamic and exhilarating sailing experience. Elevating your sailing experience, the innovative design includes two masts that fold with ease, requiring only one person to manage the entire operation. This unique feature not only showcases the vessel’s adaptability but also opens up exciting possibilities for navigating waterways with low bridge clearances. In addition, the boat is equipped with a 9ft retractable bowsprit that can significantly enhance the performance of the sails by reducing the blanket effect of the main. The longer the sprit, the less of an effect your main will have on your chute’s performance. If you’re interested in speed, a bowsprit will also allow you to carry a larger sail. The benefits of a retractable system is that it is easily fold and doesn’t increase your LOA, thus reducing your marina fees!

Anchoring is a breeze with two Danforth anchors and an impressive 200 feet of chain, allowing you to explore and moor in your favorite spots with ease. The vessel comes equipped with essential navigation tools, including dual compasses, GPS, and a reliable depth sounder. Stay connected with the outside world using three VHF radios, and add a touch of entertainment to your journeys with a built-in stereo system. The sailboat is designed for self-sufficiency, featuring six 60-gallon water tanks, ensuring a constant and ample water supply for your extended voyages. The boat is powered by 80 HP inboard diesel engine VETUS, VH480H52, 2006 with less than 300 hours on it.

The galley is equipped with LP stove and oven, a fridge, and an icebox. Enjoy the convenience of pressurized water, a head, and a boarding ladder for easy access in and out of the vessel.

Don’t miss the chance to own this 46-foot custom sailboat – a harmonious blend of timeless craftsmanship and contemporary features, offering an unparalleled sailing experience for those who seek both adventure and comfort on the open seas.
